It looks like 20th century Fox has acquired the movie rights to Dark Horse Comic’s Mind MGMT. Ridley Scott is going to Producing the film through his Scott Free Banner. The book is about a government agency that uses Spies and Psychics. When their top agent has a nervous breakdown, losing control of his powers all the people of the town he’s in become homicidal. He panics and goes on the run. A couple of years later a true crime author named Meru develops amnesia while traveling on a plane. Meru and all the other passengers of the flight. When our agent resurfaces and saves Meru’s life, the quest begins to uncover the truth behind what is her connection to the organization.
A search for a writer to adapt the comic for the silver screen is on.
