Feeling a little retro tonight, I can understand this song. Who wouldn’t want to build a Giant Robot in their garage? Hell if I thought for a second that a giant robot could in any way bring back Firefly I would be in my welding mask now!.
I love Giant Robots what can I say, and I hate reality TV so all in all this song was written for me. Listening to it kinda makes me feel like I should be bowling for soup in 1985, but that is in NO way a bad thing. Here’s the irony of that statement though, having just read his bio where is that copy/paste button? Oh there!
” I left Nettwerk in 2008 to team up withJaret Reddick from Bowling for Soup, and Horris Records joined forces with his label Crappy Records to release “This Gigantic Robot Kills” and “21 Concepts (But a Hit Ain’t One)”. “Weird Al” played accordion on a track from “Robot Kills” after getting in touch with me in 2006 – a beautiful example that sometimes life can go full circle.”
Ah ha my ear ain’t so bad after all, Now sit back and enjoy.
