New shots and info from Planet of the Apes sequel.

So, which one is Charlton Heston?

Considering I know about 3 people who saw the film, I was surprised when the Planet of the Apes prequel/reboot/thing made serious amounts of cash for Fox. Unsurprisingly, they’ve been working on a sequel called Dawn of the Planet of the Apes.

Director Matt Reeves released the above shot on his twitter feed, which seems to show actors motion capping THE iconic scenes from the original films where apes on horses round up humans. Fox also released this synopsis:

A growing nation of genetically evolved apes led by Caesar is threatened by a band of human survivors of the devastating virus unleashed a decade earlier. They reach a fragile peace, but it proves short-lived, as both sides are brought to the brink of a war that will determine who will emerge as Earth’s dominant species.

So, its 2013 and we have apes riding horses. Let me say that again. APES RIDING HORSES. In a BIG BUDGET ACTION FILM.

Wheres that script for Kamandi: The Last Boy on Earth  I wrote whilst drunk a few years ago?
