Update: A Potential Fix Has Been Found For Pokemon X/Y Glitch

“Your soul. It’s your soul.”

Another intrepid trainer posted on Reddit on a potential fix that could possibly help get past the dreaded Lumiose City Glitch in Pokemon X/Y. The user Ultimate_Pikachu posted the following solution to bypass the problem:

Step 1: Load your game.

Step 2: As the game loads wait for the music to start.

Step 3: Mash the home button until it works.

Now, that might sound as silly as those rumors of “play as Ryu without receiving damage in Street Fighter II in order to challenge Sheng Long” nonsense that we had to deal with growing up, but in the absence of an official word from Nintendo, word-of-mouth of a fellow gamer is the only thing we can rely on right now. You know, like the good old days, before the internet when Jimmy Tudeski’s words is the only thing you can go by as he teaches you how to pull off a fatality in Mortal Kombat and made you God of the Arcades.

You’re a true pal, Jimmy Tudeski!
