Aah, Don’t You Just Love The Smell of Burning Metal So Early In The Morning?

There's just something about this game that makes me want to start singing a happy, Disney song.

There’s just something about this game that makes me want to start singing a happy, Disney song.

Remember when you used to play Star Fox and thought, “This game would’ve been awesome if I didn’t have to bail Slippy from yet another fuck-up”? Also, remember when FPS was not about shooting brown people who talked in an indecipherable language and just being borderline racist? The fine folks behind “Strike Vector” most certainly did, and decided to marry the two concepts in what could possibly be the best first/third person shooter of 2014 bar none.

And yes, even better than Modern Warfare or Battlefield. GASP! SACRILIGE!!

Everything about this game is just perfect for those who thinks Ace Combat is just too easy and military themed FPS are just getting way more ridiculous than it ought to be. The developer themselves promised to create something that honors “the pure tradition of the sacred monsters of hardcore FPS such as Quake 3”, so rejoice, friends! For once you don’t have to worry about the silliness of plot regarding China trying to invade America, and just focus on the damn gameplay!

"I can show you the woooorld/Shining, shimmering, spleeeendiiiid"

There’s plenty more good things to say about this potential Game of the Year candidate, but why take my word for it? Sign up now for Open Beta for the game in January 2014, and experience the awesomeness for yourselves!

"A whole new woooooooorld!"

“A whole new woooooooorld!”
