AAAAIEEE!! THEY’RE IN MY HAIR!! GET IT OFF GET IT OFF GET IT OFF

Carnivore Studio has recently announced their horror-exploration game titled “Kodoku” for the PS4 and PS Vita. They’ve posted several beautiful artworks on their official website as well as a teaser trailer for the game that is, uh, well, um…

According to the ever-so-reliable Wikipedia, “Kodoku” is a type of Japanese curse magic where the caster collects tons of bugs, put them in a jar, and have them fight one another to the death until only one bug remains. The fluid of the surviving insect would then be used to “poison” another person and drain their wealth (and possibly their life) to the wielder of the survivor bug, who uses that bug as a kind of good luck charm. In return, the owner of that bug is supposed to feed the survivor bug, and neglecting to do so would anger the insect and cause it to kill the owner.

Which is all fine and educational literary material about the Japanese culture, but WHAT THE FUCK, MAN?! What does that have to do with a pig with a human head eating a human corpse, or one of the most disturbing Marilyn Monroe impression I’ve ever seen in years?

"Um, mister? We. w-we really don't want to see what kind of candy you're hiding under there. M-Mister? Hello?"

The Nerditis Intern must have dropped some kind of hallucinogenic in my coffee this morning.

"AAAAAAH MOMMYYYYY!!"

“AAAAAAH MOMMYYYYY!!”
