If desperation has a logo, this is it!

Several modders (read: “mad scientists”) over at gtaforums.com have decided that if Michael deSanta won’t come to the mountain, then gosh darn it, the mountain will come to Michael deSanta! The following video shows off how these folks have created a mod for the PC version of GTA IV to transform Liberty City into San Andreas county (or at least, part of Los Santos anyway), along with the creepiest Franklin imitation ever that looked like the ungodly lovechild of Wesley Snipes and Robocop:

Now, for YEARS now the so-called “PC Master Race”, a self-ordained title that I couldn’t utter without stifling a giggle myself due to how much their proud wielders uttering it without the slightest hint of irony, have been dangling their superiority over the rest of us “Console Plebeians”, as they so lightly put it. The only thing that could shut them up was the fact that GTAV, the most anticipated title of the past year, was only readily available on the consoles, much to the frustrated cries and tears of members of the Master Race. And then, this happened.

Instead of a “Master Race”, this latest moves just paints the console-shunning fanatics as those kinds of people who just can’t let you have any kind of moment of your own. Like Dave in marketing. And we all know what happens to people like Dave, now don’t we?
