Scratch and Claw Your Way Through This Muramasa DLC Rebirth

That's not ink.

That’s not ink.

I’ve ragged on the Vita more times than I care to count in the past, and each step of the way, Sony seems to match my inherent negativity with one good move after another. Case in point: the DLC for the remake of the already well-known Wii classic, “Muramasa Rebirth”. I mean, how do you perfect an already perfect classic tale of revenge and a blindingly-fast battle system that makes you want to recite a haiku after slicing your opponents in half and striking a pose?

Vanillaware’s answer seems to be to toss cats in there somewhere. Observe!

Considering that the Vita is getting a bundle soon with the PS4, it’s pretty tempting to get the damn thing right now. Also considering that this game is populated by cats and the general attitude the internet has towards cats PLUS the fact that you can fight a Tanuki boss with giant scrotums that transforms into ghosts with eyes on its asshole, then I won’t be surprised if this wins Game of the Year, Watch Dogs be damned!

I wish I was joking about the eye-in-ass monster deal.

The DLC, titled “Fishy Tales of the Nekomata”, is out right now, so get your ass (sorry!) to a download service now!
