Welcome to Your Daily Nerd Thing.  Today we are going to look at Braniac 5 from the Legion of Superheroes who is set to make his first live action appearance on Supergirl.  Fans have noticed something is off about him.

That is a picture of what he will look like on the show.  Now here is a picture of what he looks like in the comics.

He has pretty much always been green and had pretty short hair.  Now there was that one time he was kind of blue in the Justice League animated series.

But that does not change the fact that this live action make up looks completely terrible.  This is not the first time Supergirl has had terrible looking make up effects but we had hoped they would learn something by now or hire some better make up artists.  Anyway here is the trailer.
