Welcome to Your Daily Nerd Thing. San Diego Comic Con is happening so there is going to be a lot of news and previews coming out over the weekend. A few videos and teaser images have already come out. Today we bring you the first glimpse of the live action cast of the Umbrella Academy.

The Umbrella Academy was a comic books series from the mind of My Chemical Romance lead singer Gerard Way. It was about a bunch of super powered children raised my a mad scientist to save the world and all the trauma and dysfunction that came with it. The Umbrella Academy is very weird and there is a lot of material from the comic book that will probably be impossible to translate to live action but I am curious to see how it turns out.
