It is out first look at Joaquin Phoenix in the upcoming Joker origin movie. And I’m not sure what to add to the conversation because I’m not sure I care enough about it. There are rumors floating about that his name will be Arthur Fleck and well its no better or worse than any other names the Joker has had before. And I’m not convinced that this movie will be any better or worse than any of the other Joker origin stories that are already out there. The Joker has just come to occupy this weird pop culture space that is so amorphous but does not look like it will fade anytime soon.
