Welcome to Your Daily Nerd Thing. The Umbrella Academy is a comic book written by Gerard Way of the band My Chemical Romance. It will soon be a live action show on Netflix and they just released this new extended trailer for it.
The Umbrella Academy is about a group of super powered children who were adopted by a genius billionaire and raised to be world saving heroes. However as adults they are pretty dysfunctional. Some people may notice that they are numbered up to seven but we have only seen six so far. I’ll let you watch the show or read the comic book to find out what that is all about. Anyway they have to come back together to save the world from an unknown threat.
