This trailer starts out with a scene taken directly from the book. The first movie actually diverged from the book a lot so I wasn’t expecting them to have a scene this true to the source material in the sequel. There is a lot of material from the book that can’t or even should not be translated to live action for various reasons. But there are a number of good moments of horror from the book that can make for a good movie.
